While stationed in Biloxi, Ms Laura got pregnant with triplets. She went into preterm labor at 24 weeks gestation during Hurricane Dennis. Tyson was 1lb 8oz-12 1/4in, Preston was 1lb 6oz-12in, and Landon was 1lb 8oz-12in. Preston, our sweet angel, quickly returned to our Father above on his second day of life.
Tyson and Landon have had several surgeries all over the country including a stay in the New Orleans Children Hospital during Hurricane Katrina. Our children are our joy in this crazy life and they make it all worth. I’m currently going to WSU seeking a nursing degree in hopes to become a commissioned officer in the Air Force. I hope you're not offended by the title of your post. My husband made it up! :) When he came up with it, it made me laugh so hard that I just had to put it...but I can see how it might be offensive so let me know. I will never forget your starring role as the Major Modern General. You were amazing!!
I just clicked on your link and watched your slideshow about the passing of your little Preston and it brought me to tears!! I encourage everyone to check it out. It will break your heart as it did mine. He was only on earth for a short time, but I know he's touched many hearts...including mine! What a special angel he is!
Jared,
I am so sorry to hear about your beautiful little Preston. You and Laura must be very strong people to go through that. My mom lost two of her sons (born before me) soon after they were born. I'm glad to know that you know that you will get to hold him again. I wish that I could give you what you need to help with your adorable boys. I pray that help comes quickly. You two are amazing.
